Girls Make Games is a Game Development Summer Camp experience with locations spread out all over the country! Girls make up a large portion of the gaming population, but are underrepresented in the industry itself. GMG aims to change that by providing an intense crash course in game development through Unity and Stencyl for girls aged 8-17!

At the end of 3 weeks, 5 teams of girls are chosen to present the game they've made during camp to a panel of judges at Demo Day, hosted by PlayStation HQ in San Mateo, CA. The winning team has their game kickstarted and further developed!

Responsibilities:

Leading Unity & Game Design Instructor for girls aged 8-17

Guided teams through developing games using Unity 2D and C#

Led interactive modules and lessons on principles of game design

Mentored team that was chosen as one of the 5 Demo Day presenters at Demo Day 2018
