Summer in San Francisco is a fish-tank simulation with fully working character customization, and dynamically generated, randomized NPCs--basically you watch a bunch of degenerates in a house do nothing but eat, sleep, watch TV, chat, and smoke. NPCs daily behaviors, hobbies, and friends are entirely stat driven; complete with randomized names and hometowns, no single playthrough is exactly the same!

I wanted to draw on my own life experience living in a random, unpredictable, and somewhat degenerate Airbnb with 21 other people in Millbrae, California. Each and every person in that house had some kind of wild reason for being there, and in some cases an even wilder life story. They were also incredibly diverse- barely anyone except the two guys who owned the house were from California-- the rest were from all over the US and other countries. There was no single connecting thread between any of us, yet we all managed to coexist peacefully and often hung out (among other degenerate activities) as a house.
